KINGMAN – The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 765 will hold a Young Eagles rally starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.

This gives young people ages 8 through 17 the opportunity to learn about aviation and go for a free airplane ride.

Those interested should go to 4560 Flightline Drive at the Kingman Airport. The children are given a brief ground school lesson that teaches them the basics about how the aircraft is controlled in the air. They also learn what four elements the pilot must control while in flight.

A parent or guardian’s permission is required.

Chapter 765 has provided over 1,286 free flights to the youth of Mohave County. These flights are made possible thanks to our sponsors, Mohave State Bank, Air’Zona Aircraft Services, Sutherland Law Firm, the Kingman Kiwanis Club members, Nelson Insurance, Kingman Transportation Service and the Laughlin-Bullhead Airport Authority.
