BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department invites the community to attend a Peace Officers Memorial service on at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, to recognize and pay respect to our fallen heroes.

Peace Officers Memorial Week honors those law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

The Peace Officers Memorial service will be held outside the City Council Chambers, 1255 Marina Blvd. in front of the flagpoles.

Members of Mohave High School’s Junior ROTC will post the colors and the school’s Concert Choir members will perform songs during the service. The guest speaker is Bullhead City Police Chief Brian Williamson.

A roll call of the officers in the tri-state area who were killed in the line of duty will be read aloud and honored for making the ultimate sacrifice.
