KINGMAN – A vacant doublewide mobile home was heavily damaged by fire Monday.

Interim Chief Tim King said Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District personnel responded at 7:30 a.m. to the incident at Jagerson Avenue and Huffman Road.

“The structure was fully involved when we arrived on scene," King said. He said no injuries were reported and that the cause of the fire is under investigation.

NACFD and Kingman Fire Department crews also handled a brush fire Monday. Kingman Assistant Fire Chief Keith Eaton said the fire was reported at 12:15 p.m. in the area of Jagerson and Shane Drive.  He said no structures were damaged and that firefighters brought the fire under control in less than three hours.
