COTTONWOOD COVE – The National Park Service reports the body of a man who went missing on Lake Mohave Sunday was recovered Monday.

 

Agency spokeswoman Christie Vanover said the California man disappeared while swimming about 11 a.m. Sunday in the vicinity of Pot Cove, southeast of the Cottonwood Cove Marina.

Vanover said Park Rangers and Bullhead City police located the body in the same area in about 10 feet of water about 9 a.m. Monday. The name of the 44-year-old resident from San Jose was initially withheld and cause of death will be determined by the Mohave County Medical Examiner.
