JAVC applies for USDA funding to help meet transitional housing goal


KINGMAN – The Jerry Ambrose Veterans Council of Mohave County, Inc. (JAVC) has applied to the USDA Rural Development for funding assistance to develop a transitional housing project for homeless and at-risk military veterans.


This project, known as Operation 6, is located in the Arnold Plaza building at 315 Oak Street in Kingman.

A public meeting will be at held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 30, in the American Legion Post #14 meeting room, 235 Oak Street, in Kingman, to discuss the specific elements of the application and to give residents in the local area an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project.
