BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Recreation Department announces its partnership with Anderson Auto Group and The Boys & Girls Club of the Colorado River for the upcoming Best of the West Fishing Derby.

Anderson Auto Group is offering free youth entries to the first 25 youth anglers registered through Boys & Girls Club of the Colorado River. Plus, a $500 prize pool for registered anglers under the age of 18 that consists of first place, $150; second place, $75; and third place, $25 in each category.

KINGMAN – Scout Laine Barnes, Troop 98, along with Scout Cody Shrum and Eagle Scouts Josh and Nick Taflan recently scoured the city collecting 148 worn and tattered U.S. flags that will be honorably retired as part of Barnes’ Eagle Scout project.
