Mayor, two councilors file paperwork, challengers gather signatures

BULLHEAD CITY – Three Bullhead City officials whose terms of office expire in late 2018 have each picked up the necessary paperwork to seek new terms of office.

They include Mayor Tom Brady and Council members Steve D’Amico and Annette Wegmann.

Brady could face a challenge from Jerry Duvall. The retired policeman and former City Council member is circulating nominating petitions in an effort to qualify for the mayor’s race.

The first to gather petition signatures to run for City Council is Gerald Ross, who also ran for Council in the last election. Anyone interested in pursuing candidacy in the elections next August and November has until the end of next May to qualify their campaigns.
