BULLHEAD CITY – Years of hard work have led to an achievement celebrated at the old Moss Mine seven miles east of Bullhead City.

The Northern Vertex Mining Corp. announced March 13 that it now has finished product on site.

“The first gold pour at the Moss Mine is an exciting milestone for all stakeholders,” Northern Vertex’s Kenneth Berry said in a statement. “The transition to U.S. gold producer is the culmination of six years of development, millions in economic activity and a dedication to safety.”

Project partner Sprott provided much of the financing used to return the mine to production.

“As one of the largest investors dedicated to the natural resource sector, Sprott is excited to continue its partnership with Northern Vertex on future acquisition and developments,” said Narinder Nagra, managing partner of Sprott.

Northern Vertex previously projected employment of 100 people once the Moss Mine is fully operational. The company also intends to conduct further mining resource exploration in the Oatman District.
