KINGMAN - Midnight Friday brings the deadline for submitting applications for the Kingman Unified School District (KUSD) Superintendent position.

Current superintendent Roger Jacks is retiring at the end of next June.

KUSD governing board members will discuss the applicant pool during executive session next Tuesday. The goal is to select finalists and schedule interviews late this month.

Jacks spent 27 years in the U.S. Air Force before he began a second career in the education arena 26 years ago. He has spent his last 12 years with the KUSD, ten of those as its superintendent.
