Ask Ann Costello to name the one star out of the hundreds she photographed over three decades and she won’t hesitate for even a second.

“Elvis,” she said with bright eyes from her home at Star Land Ranch in Chloride. “That was one special night. They had just built The International. That was one of the biggest hotels on the Strip at the time. It was 1970 and there were 10,000 people camped out on the lawn of the hotel just to see Elvis Presley. They made the showroom just for him.”
