Few leads for detectives to follow; reward offered for good information

KINGMAN – Kingman Police continue to search for two armed men who robbed a dollar store Thursday night.

Kingman Police spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said the men were covered “from head to toe” when they entered the Dollar General Store sometime prior to 8:45 p.m., threatened two female employees, demanded money from the safe and then forced them to the back of the store where they bound their hands.

Sochocki said the men left with an undisclosed amount of cash, beer, cigarettes and other items. The women could not tell officers what they were driving or which direction they headed from the store located in the 4400 block of Stockton Hill Road.

No customers were present and the victims were not injured, said Sochocki.

She said both men are white. One was described as being in his 40s, about 6-feet-0 and 180 pounds with a brown pony tail, a black hooded jacket, gray cargo pants, tan or gray work boots and a boonie style hat.

The other suspect was described as younger, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10 and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and brown or tan work boots and baseball cap.

A reward is being offered up to $750 for information leading to the arrest of the men.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kingman Police Department by calling 928- 753-2191; or report anonymously to Mohave Silent Witness at 928-753-1234; or report tips online by going to www.kingmanpolice.com and clicking on “Give a Tip.” You can also report through the KPD App, which is available free through the App Store.
