KINGMAN – A reward of up to $1,500 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a person or persons responsible for the arson of a home under construction in the 3600 block of Adams Street on the night of May 3.

 

Kingman Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the home was initially targeted April 25 when someone three a device similar to a Molotov cocktail into the home.

Cooper said Kingman firefighters put out the fire before it did significant damage, but the home was an inferno when they returned May 3.

Cooper said the home was a total loss in excess of $50,000.

Cooper said Mohave Silent Witnesses has set aside $500 and the builder another $1,000 as potential rewards.
