LAKE HAVASU CITY - Two Lake Havasu City women face prosecution for allegedly scuffling with officers during separate occasions last month.

The first incident on Jan. 12 involved Alexandra Stath, 30.

Officers responding to a domestic disturbance call encountered Stath in the back yard of a residence in the 2500 block of Talisman Lane. Police reports indicate Stath was erratic and combative when confronted.

During an initial attempt to detain her, Stath allegedly used a cigarette lightr to try to burn the hand of an officer. Use of her fingernails during the ensuing struggle scratched an officer causing him to bleed from his hand.

Stath was arrested for aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal damage.

Julia Walls, 47, was arrested on Jan. 31 after police responded to a report involving a violent female. Police reports indicate Walls was first spotted lying in the driveway of a home in the 3100 block of Chemehuevi Boulevard.

Walls, reportedly intoxicated due to consumption of pills and alcohol, entered a garage where she kicked at officers and kneed one of them in the leg during the detention effort. Walls was booked into jail for aggravated assault on an officer.
