KINGMAN – The Mohave Republican Forum (MRF) will meet Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 5:15 p.m. at Golden Corral, 3580 Stockton Hill Rd.

MRF will host State Senator Sonny Borrelli and Josh Stanwitz from the Arizona Chapter of Concerned Veterans for America; they will be speaking on state propositions. Other guest speakers may include Kingman Vice Mayor/Mayor Elect Jen Miles or Councilman Lingenfelter addressing the Kingman Sales Tax Initiative.

KRW wants to remind the public that there are five state propositions, the outcome of which will dramatically effect  individuals and businesses, including whether to increase the required solar  percentage to not less than 50%  or allowing other sources for electric if more cost effective. The Kingman Initiative attempts to overturn the increased sales taxes designated for funding road construction and maintenance and capital improvements, including the I-40 interchanges and related access roads.

The public is welcome to attend MRF meetings.  There is an admission charge of $2 per person to assist with the meeting costs.  An early bird special price is available for those arriving and paying for their meals prior to 4 p.m.

For reservations, which are requested and helpful or for further information, please contact Rita Basinger at 928- 692-4771, basingerreb@gmail.com  or Jayne Seieroe at 714-914-7143, gs2007info@yahoo.com or Kathie Sturtevant at 928-718-0891, kathie2547@gmail.com.
