The following activities are available at no charge for youth at the Kingman Library.

 

Storytime: Every Wednesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Bring your child for stories, songs and other activities which will help develop early literacy skills and nurture a love of reading.

TGIF Dance Party: Every Friday at 11 a.m.

Calling all kids ages 1-6, come and dance with us!

Saturday with Santa: Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m.

Santa will be making a special trip to the library! The Rhythm Band will be welcoming Kris Kringle with a holiday song. Santa will be reading a story and spreading Christmas cheer to all! Parents don’t forget your camera! Santa will be available for pictures

Gingerbread Houses: Thursday, December 20 from 5:30 to 7:50 p.m.

Join the library for their annual Gingerbread House event! They provide pre-made graham cracker houses and decorations, you provide the creativity!

Teen Time Chalkboard Art: Saturday, December 22 at 2 p.m.

Tweens and teens grades 6th-12th. Create a holiday chalkboard and learn the tricks that go into making beautiful chalkboard art!

Drop-In Volunteering: Friday, December 28 at 2 p.m.

Tweens and teens grades 6th-12th. Volunteer packet required. Looking for service hours for school or a civic group? Need flexibility without the long term commitment? We have the perfect opportunity! Come and help out the library. Volunteer packets can be found at the Youth Services Desk.
