KINGMAN - December 20 through 22, Beale Street Theater presented “Scrooge” The Musical at Kingman High School auditorium.

The audience was captured as soon as the curtains were drawn by music, singing, the amazing talent of the cast and the beautiful flow and props of the play.

The play was open to the public with tickets purchased at $12 for adults. Proceeds from the productions go towards a renovation project of the Beale Street Theater in downtown Kingman. The renovation will help to make the space a performing arts venue for the city. With a 2019 theater fundraising goal of $315,000, the theater is about $200 away from its phase 1 goal of roof stabilization.

“Working with the cast and production team of Beale Street Theater has been a fun adventure. I have learned so much from everyone and I hope they have learned a lot about themselves as actors,” says theater director Lindsay Wheeler.
