Kingman Regional Medical Center has done it again! The Senior Health Expo was a great event not only for seniors but for the entire community to attend.

Saturday, January 26th 2019, KRMC hosted its annual Senior Health Fair at KRMC’s Hualapai Mountain Campus in Kingman. The event was offered not only to raise awareness of different organizations and the services they provide but also to actually get services at the fair.

The fair offered free cholesterol testing while North Country Health Care provided hepatitis C testing. Also available was blood pressure and biometrics testing as well as oncologists providing free skin examinations.

“So we do four health fairs a year. We’ve been doing this senior fair for probably 15, 20 years. Each of our health fairs are targeted towards a different demographic. So we do women’s health fairs, men’s health fairs, a kids fair, we call it Kids day, and this one is more oriented towards seniors. I think we have about 50 booths here from different community organizations and whatever on health and fitness information and certainly community services that are of interest to seniors.” says Teri Williams, Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

All in one place, seniors were able to get answers to health questions and learn what’s out there that can help with their well being.
