BULLHEAD CITY – The City of Bullhead City recently sought out volunteers from local organizations, businesses and school groups who would be interested in participating in the Adopt-a-Parkway Program on the Bullhead Parkway.

They received nine applicants who responded and would like thank all of them for their interest in helping to keep Bullhead City beautiful.

The Parkway is a total of 10 miles long and is broken into two mile sections for adoption. Originally, the City was looking to fill the vacancies for mile marker 4 to 6 and mile marker 6 to 8 on the Parkway. The City also added the new extension that runs on the west side of Highway 95 to the new fieldhouse into the adoption program.

A drawing was held on Friday, February 1 and the winners are: ABATE of Arizona, Bullhead City Pickle Ball Team and DOT Foods.

“Congratulations and the city looks forward to working with these groups to beautify Bullhead City,” City Manager Toby Cotter stated.  “Due to the huge interest in this program we are looking into other streets in the community to expand the program so the other applicants can have an opportunity to give back to their community.”
